Hello, my name is Talisha D’Arcy, and I am the proud founder of Faced Aesthetics. Today, I want to share the story behind my journey into the cosmetic business. This path has been shaped by my lifelong passions for caring for others, my meticulous nature, and a deep-seated love for beauty.
A Perfectionist from the Start
From a young age, I was known as a perfectionist. My family would often find me lining up my toys in a perfect line, a habit that reflected my attention to detail and desire for order. This trait has always been a part of who I am, driving me to excel in everything I do.
The Nursing Journey Begins
My passion for caring for others led me to pursue a Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University. During my studies, I had the unique opportunity to work as one of the very first nursing assistants in a trial job in the emergency department, a role that soon became permanent. This experience sparked my passion for emergency nursing.
Advancing in the Nursing Field
After graduating, I continued to work in the emergency department and whilst having a rotation in general medicine and palliative care ward. I completed my transition into specialty practice in emergency nursing and worked my way up to become a proficient senior staff member, whilst recently completing a nurse in charge rotation. The emergency department is a challenging environment, dealing with high demands and critically ill patients, but it taught me resilience, precision, and the importance of compassionate care.
Seeking More: A Turning Point
When COVID-19 hit, it was a turning point for many in the healthcare industry, myself included. The pandemic made me realise that there was more for me to explore in the world of nursing and I wanted to set myself up to be a future mum with flexible working hours. I decided to expand my horizons and delve into the field of cosmetic nursing.
Pursuing a Passion for Beauty
To achieve this, I completed my Advanced Certificate of Cosmetic Nursing at the CPD Institute of Australia. I found a mentor Felicity Ward “The Fit Injector”, who guided me in opening Injectables by T. Additionally, I signed with JUVAE, further solidifying my commitment to providing top-tier aesthetic treatments.
The Birth of Faced Aesthetics
Faced Aesthetics, formerly Injectables by T, was born from my desire to provide a space where I could help people look and feel their best. My background in nursing ensures that I bring a high level of care, precision, and safety to every treatment. At Faced Aesthetics, I aim to enhance natural beauty and boost confidence, using my medical expertise to offer the best possible outcomes for my clients.

One of the pillars of my practice is a steadfast commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
